### About Me

I was born in 1970 in the Nadia District of West Bengal. From a young age, I was captivated by the arts, particularly realistic painting. Between the ages of 4 and 6, I became fascinated with creating cinematic star portraits. By the time I was 8, I was already painting portraits of my classmates, who appreciated and encouraged my talent, further fueling my passion for art.

After graduating with a degree in Political Science from Kolkata University, I passed the written exams to become an Income Tax Officer. Around this time, I encountered the ISKCON organization and was deeply moved by its teachings. Choosing to follow this spiritual path, I left my previous career behind and joined ISKCON.

In 2004, when my Guru established ISKCON Ujjain, he entrusted me with various responsibilities, leading me to relocate to Ujjain. My Guruji wanted to create a murti of Prabhupada and initially sought artists from Kolkata, America and other countries also he called the National Award winner Artists from Krishna Nagar. However, he was not satisfied with their work. Observing this, I felt compelled to try my hand at creating the murti. With my Guru’s permission, I completed the murti to his satisfaction. He praised my work, highlighting that despite being an amateur, I had succeeded where professional artists had not.

Since then, the responsibility of murti making has been bestowed upon me. My murtis are renowned worldwide, with my realistic sculptures reaching every corner of the globe. This success is attributed to the mercy of Lord Krishna and my Guru. Within ISKCON, I handle all murti creations, while also taking on external projects. One notable creation is the Giridhari Murti sculpture. To date, I have crafted numerous murtis, both domestically and internationally, all inspired by my devotion and the blessings of my spiritual mentors.
